Blue Beach House is a charming property, only 100m from the sea wall at Lane End it is perfectly positioned to explore the beaches and coastal paths of Bembridge and provides uniquely styled accommodation and gardens which make for an attractive seaside home. Offering two bedrooms and a light and spacious reception room with vaulted ceiling and doors opening to the garden there is also a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and ensuite W.C.,plenty of parking to the front and pretty gardens at the rear. Blue Beach House has been sympathetically converted and beautifully styled by the current owners with painted timber clad internal walls and original wood detailing and iconic blue shiplap clad exterior with a tin roof and white painted timber windows. It has been perfectly arranged for use as a holiday home and holiday let property where it has forecast turnover in the region of £30,000pa though currently being occupied by tenants on a long letting basis. The site also offers the potential for remodelling the chalet or replacing with a modern dwelling (subject to achieving the necessary planning consent) where the plot is spacious, and the location highly sought after.

Origins of the Blue Beach House
The Iconic beach house began life during World War One when the Canadian Government shipped thousands of wooden huts to England to house the vast number of troops awaiting deployment to France and Belgium, Blue Beach House was one of these huts being designed to accommodate three military officers at a time. After the war was over, the huts were no longer required, and the British Government sold them off as surplus, their solid construction and easy assembly made them suitable for a range of uses – Many were acquired by sports clubs and are still in use today as cricket pavilions and club houses, others were repurposed as out-houses, holiday chalets, workshops and sheds.
